Projects

Take a look through four of the many projects I believe best display the skills I've learned from the digital studies certificate as well as my passion for creativity and art. These projects mainly consist of digital design with Canva, documentary photography, and short form videos made for social media. I've also included a link to the journal I was an assistant editor on.

About Place Journal

As an assistant editor for the About Place Journal, I'm proud to link the most recent issue I've worked on, "Careful/Care-full Collaboration." Published in May 2025, this is the second About Place Journal issue I've been a part of. I was also an assistant editor on the fall issue of the journal that came out in October 2024, "Shaping Destiny: Election Season Before, During, and After," which can also be found on the APJ website.

Photography Portfolio/Photo Essays

Though photography is a relatively new skill that I have picked up, I have always loved finding and capturing the beauty of the world. I am currently in a photography class, LSC 450, where we have to create photo essays which I have linked here. I like to focus on environmental themes because of how important they are to show the reality of, both the destructive effects and how people are able to come together and create community through it all.

Short Video Series - Perfect Picnic Places

This is a short video campaign consistiting of 10 videos, each 34 seconds or less. I made this for my COM ARTS 522 class, digital storytelling for social media. We had to focus on a specific human behavior and I chose pinicking. In addition to filming, writing, and eiditing all of the videos, I also created the logo for the channel on Canva.

Digital Designs

Here is a handful of some other designs I have taken on for ASM Sustainability, an open committee in the UW-Madison student government that I choose to sit on. These designs were made on Canva.
